Who we Are?

“Karigar” an affiliate of Asha Handicrafts Association that supports Indian artisans since 1975. We are driven by a strong commitment to preserving, protecting and promoting Indian Handicrafts and the artisans who create them. Over thousands of artisans are supported to handcraft their skills, bringing life to the art thereby sustaining livelihood.

Focusing on ‘Training, Trading and Transforming’ the artisan’s communities are given a platform to showcase their skills, earn a dignified living and contribute to the rich cultural heritage of India. Our commitment goes beyond economic empowerment: as we invest into education, healthcare and skill development of the Indian artisans and their families.
